Do not stack Sippsipp glasses, as they have an thin rim. It is recommended to keep the original Sippsipp packaging for safe transportation of the glasses if needed.
Avoid storing the glasses in cabinets near strongly scented items, as glasses can absorb odors, which may affect the wine's aroma.
Rinse the glasses immediately after use to prevent drink residues from damaging the glass. Especially red wine can damage the glass if the residue is left too long.
Do not drink milk-based beverages from wine glasses. The milk protein leaves a film on the glass that can be hard to remove. Avoid large temperature differences, as the glasses may crack.
Do not use ice cubes in the glasses, as they cool down quickly. Also, avoid using hot beverages in the glasses.
Handwash
Use warm water and a mild dish soap. Rinse thoroughly to avoid soap residues.
To avoid damage, use a soft sponge and avoid applying strong pressure to the glass.
Let the glass air dry on a towel. Avoid metal stands, as they can damage the rim of the glass.
Polish with the SiPP SiPP polishing cloth for a sparkling finish.
Dishwasher
When placing your SiPP SiPP glasses in the dishwasher, ensure there is enough space between the glasses so they don't touch each other or other items.
Place the glasses on the top rack and use the glass holder if your dishwasher has one. Ideally, use a dedicated glass rack. It’s better to place the glasses upside down at a 180-degree angle rather than lying flat.
Always open the dishwasher after the cycle to release the steam.
Follow the instructions for dosing dishwasher detergent and other agents.
Rinse aid makes a big difference in the shine of the glasses. For a more eco-friendly option, you can use vinegar.
Adjust the dishwasher’s water softening system according to your household’s water hardness.
Make sure your dishwasher always has dishwasher salt.
Choose a low-temperature program (50-55 °C) or a glass program to keep your Sippsipp glasses in the best condition.
After washing, open the dishwasher door to allow moisture to evaporate. Steam can damage the glass surface and cause glass corrosion.
Polishing
First, wash the glass by hand or in the dishwasher. Let it dry.
If you have stubborn stains, use steam from boiling water during the polishing process.
The polishing cloth is large enough to grip the glass with both hands.
Hold the glass directly under the bowl with one hand and gently polish the inside and outside with the other hand.
Warning: Never hold both the foot and the bowl at the same time when drying or polishing the glass, as twisting may cause the stem to break.
Wash the polishing cloth at a high temperature (60 °C) with fragrance-free detergent.
Do not use fabric softener, as it can leave a greasy film on the glasses. Let the cloth air dry and avoid using a tumble dryer.
